One of the most important—and often overlooked—steps in skincare is using sunscreen. UV rays from the sun can cause premature aging, sunburn, and even skin cancer. Applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every morning, even on cloudy days, helps protect the skin from long-term damage. Sunscreen should be reapplied every two hours when outdoors for best results.

Reading ingredient labels and avoiding harsh chemicals or fragrances can prevent adverse reactions.
